This reduced fabric density creates a softer hand feel and improved airflow while also producing a more relaxed drape on the body.

Common compositions include lightweight cotton, combed cotton, modal blends, and certain polyester-cotton mixes. These fibers are selected to maintain softness while minimizing bulk.
